Webinar: Introduction to grant writing at AU Tech

As a postdoc, tenure-track staff, and newly recruited to a Danish university there is an expectation that you will be involved in fundraising. However, for many researchers early in their career, this is a new competence that needs to be developed. For researchers new to Europe or Denmark there may be differences compared to your home countries. This webinar covers the fundamental aspects of grant writing in a Danish and European context. Topics that will be covered include the grant writing process, genre, target group, evaluation, project description (introduction, objective, research questions, state-of-the-art, method, research plan, project management, dissemination, impact), budgeting and support at AU. The webinar is designed to train junior researchers (tenure-track assistant professors, assistant professors, and postdoc) in grant writing. Newly recruited, more senior academic staff from abroad or other interested researchers are welcome to join.
