ECE Onboarding – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Based on this work, a 'training video' has been made, which all new hires and employees are encouraged to watch. On this site you can find the training video.

To optimize the department's potential, we need to create an environment for employees and students, where you can thrive, develop and think in new ways. Therefore, we strive for to offer a diverse, equal and inclusive environment that can attract a diverse spectrum of employees and students. To create an inclusive environment, we ackknowledge the need to respect individual boundaries, respectful communication and awareness of the biases that surround us in our daily lives.

All employees participated in training sessions in the fall of 2023, where this was used for training material.  It is recommended that all new employees watch the training video as part of their onboarding at ECE.
