To support proper handling and storage of research data Aarhus University uses ERDA. Researchers are requested to archive their research data via ERDA. Whenever there is no other public persistent archive of the data, the data must be made available via ERDA.
This also ensures compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), secure storage and retrieval and long-term availability. In addition, ERDA provides a secure basis for sharing research data with colleagues and collaborators in a controlled way.
