Did you know that as an international resident in Denmark and an employee at Aarhus Universitet, you are entitled to free Danish language lessons during your first five years in the country?

The courses are available to all international residents with a Danish address and CPR number, as well as their accompanying partner.

After registering for your CPR number, you will receive a referral letter from your municipality. Please note that the five-year period to complete your Danish education programme starts from the date of this letter - even if you do not begin classes immediately.

Until now, ECE has coordinated Danish classes for our international employees in collaboration with the language provider A2B and other engineering departments. Going forward, ECE employees will instead be enrolled in mixed AU classes.
