Purpose of 5122-122

The purpose of the room is for it to be a study and research environment for ECE students and staff.

Examples of use: 

  • Activities for employees organised by ECE 
  • Activities for students organised by ECE  
  • A study environment for students, where they can do group work, and where disturbances may occur in the room
  • A platform for laboratories to show their development and research activities 

The room is not a conference centre and is NOT for external parties such as IDA or other AU departments.

How to book the room

The room is booked in Outlook by creating a appointment in your own calendar, and then inviting the room to the meeting/appointment, with a description of the purpose, time (start and end), participants, etc.

The request is processed.

Booking confirmation with rules and information about the use of 122 is send to the person responsible for the event.

The event is held. Remember to make sure that the room is ready beforehand – like the other meeting rooms. 

Use the booking confirmation as the guideline.

Make sure that the room is clean and ready for use the next day.

Important to note

  • Disturbances from the surrounding labs may occur as there will be people walking to and from the laboratories and the canteen.
  • Students have the opportunity to use the room 24/7.
  • If the room can’t be used for a certain period of time, the person responsible for the event is responsible for making the other users aware of this. There are signs for this purpose in storage room 5122-131. If you need access to the storage room, please contact the Secretariat: ece@au.dk
  • If the event is held after 4pm, an email must be sent to Facility Management (NT-BygNord.Bygningsservice@au.dk) to inform them about the event, because of the alarms.
