The department has a post office where packages can be sent and received from. The post office is located in room 104 in building 5125.
Internal Mail handles the dispatch of letters and parcels. All outgoing mail is collected and processed by AU's Internal Mail & Logistics before being sent via DAO.
To send mail from the Katrinebjerg campus, simply place your letter or parcel in the tray labelled "Udbakke".
If it is absolutely necessary for your letter to be delivered tomorrow, you can send it as a ‘Quick letter’.
Write the letter ‘Q’ on the top centre of the envelope, and Internal Mail will take care of the rest.
Letters and parcels can be sent to Foulum and Herning via Internal Mail, which collects mail for these locations and dispatches it together.

The individual employee is responsible for the shipment of their own letters/parcels.
When sending a parcel to a private address, please write the recipient's email address and/or mobile phone number on a note and attach it securely to the parcel.
Internal Mail uses this information when registering the shipment, enabling the recipient to receive delivery notifications and track & trace information. The note will be removed before the parcel is dispatched.
To ensure correct distribution, the receiver must make sure that letters/packages for ECE are marked clearly with:
Please be aware that both letters and packages delivered to ECE's locations must be picked up as soon as possible after delivery. If you are not at campus on the day of delivery, you can ask a colleague to pick up your mail.
Staff located at Finlandsgade and Helsingforsgade can pick up their mail in room 104 in building 5125.
There is a pigeon-hole for each section at the department. You will find your mail in the pigeon-hole for your section. Packages can be found on the table in the room.
For urgent deliveries, a courier or transport company can be used.
Each department or faculty is responsible for arranging courier transport.
Aarhus University has a procurement agreement with DSV for courier services. The agreement is voluntary, meaning that other courier providers may also be used if appropriate.

You can find office supplies in room 5125-107, including writing utensils, notepads, envelopes, Post-it Notes, and other everyday office items.
A paper cutter and laminating machine are also available for use in the mail room (5125-104). Please note that these items must remain in the room.
Office supplies in AU Viborg (Foulum) can be found in building L30 (8210) and at the Biogas plant.
