PhD Committee
The ECE PhD Committee is responsible for ensuring the quality and development of the department's PhD degree programme in close collaboration with the Graduate School of Technical Sciences (GSTS).
The Committee has, among other things, the following tasks:
- Ensure the quality of the supervision
- Ensure the implementation of six-monthly evaluations
- Evaluation of PhD applications
- Coordination of qualification exams
- Coordination of PhD teaching hours
- Planning and approval of PhD courses
The committee meets four times a year.
Members
The PhD Committee consists of 6 VIP staff members from the department, 7 PhD student representatives and 4 alternates. The committee is headed by a chair and has a secretary affiliated to handle the administrative tasks of the committee.
